Introduction

PM Narendra Modi is an upcoming Indian biographical film directed by Omung Kumar and Jointly Produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip S Singh & An and Pandit. The film is based on the life of Narendra Modi, and 14th Prime Minister of India, Starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role who is also credited as co-writer of the film. The film will release in 23 different language.

Synopsis

This film is the inspiring saga of a man, a politician, a leader and a visionary-visionary-The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodar Das Modi. It chronicles his 64-year epic Journey from adject poverty, selling tea on a railway station as a chaiwala (tea seller) to becoming the leader of the world's largest democracy. The film "PM Narendra Modi" is the shining symbol of the victory of a common man.

Film director Omung Kumar tweeted "In India, all big things are started with a blow of the conch. Here's presenting the new poster of #PMNarendraModi." The film traces Modi's life from childhood till the 2014 General Election, which the Bharatiya Janta Party had won with a clear majority.

The movie has faced these difficulties

The Election Commission had stayed the release of the biopic on April 10. The body had roled that displaying material that promotes a political figure would go against the core principal of the modal code of conduct of creating of level-playing field for elections.

The film producer challenged the poll body's ban and the supreme court agreed to hear the stay on the release on April 12. The supreme court then asked the Election Commission to watch the film and reconsider its stance.

The poll panel submitted a report to the supreme court, saying that a public screening of the movie during the ongoing elections would "till the electoral balance." A committee set up by the polling commission had watched the entire film and submitted the report.

Subsequently, the supreme court rejected the film producers' plea challenging the Election Commissions ban on the film. A bench of chief justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and Justices Deepak Gupta and Sanjiv Khana said that will interfere in the matter.
